I have used this product for about 2 years and loved it. I told everyone who would listen how GREAT this product is for my right knee where there is no longer any cartilage. I get gel knee injections every 6 months as a recommended knee replacement is out of the question. Earlier this year I bought another jar and noticed it now smells like menthol. I liked this product because it is (was) unscented and worked for me. I recently bought another jar, thinking maybe the last jar was just a fluck that it had a smell of menthol to it. The ingredients still say nothing about menthol and still unscented. To my disappointment when it arrived in the mail and I opened it, I again was meet with the smell of menthol. I rarely use this product now as I don’t like thinks that have a smell, especially when they smell medicinal. My husband even asked me why I was wearing something that had a smell to it. I told him it was my knee salve and he asked why I changed salves I told him I didn’t. I give this 3 starts because it used to work great for me, now I don’t know as I have to put up with the smell if I want to use it. 🙁
